RERA Chairman gives orders to start real estate agent training soon

 Lucknow: The staff meeting of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) was held in RERA auditorium under the chairmanship of Chairman Sanjay R Bhusreddy. RERA ACR officials of Greater Noida office also participated in this meeting through video conferencing. The main objective of the meeting was the quality implementation of the works of the authority, which includes preparation for agent registration and training, updating information related to promoters and coordination with the Appellate Tribunal etc.

Chairman Sanjay R Bhusreddy reviewed the meeting pointwise and directed that all necessary preparations for agent training should be completed soon and the training work should be started from the month of November at any cost. He said that this training is being started with the aim of upgrading the work skills of real estate agents and ensuring strict compliance of RERA rules in Uttar Pradesh.

In addition, due to non-availability of address and property details of many promoters in the recovery certificates issued by RERA, recovery is not being done by the District Magistrates. To improve this situation, a proposal was sent to the Government of India to link the RERA portal with the ROC website. Bhoosreddy directed that a reminder letter be sent to the Secretary, Corporate Affairs, Government of India soon so that updated information of promoters can be easily obtained and action can be taken on the recovery certificates.

The Chairman also talked about the integration facility through API between the website of the Appellate Tribunal and the RERA portal to get information on the status of appeals being filed with the Appellate Tribunal. The Assistant Director (IT) was directed to complete this integration process soon so that the information related to appeals can be exchanged on time, which will expedite the disposal of cases like issuing RC, filling or sending money to the accounts of home buyers.

Secretary Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, Chief Advisor Abrar Ahmed and other RERA officials were present in the meeting.
